The Heart of Our Farm: Caring for Our Animals
Animal care isn’t just a box we check here at Heinrich Farms—it’s the heart of everything we do. Every morning starts and ends with our animals. We know each one by sight (and attitude 😉). We understand their behaviors, we look for the little things that tell us how they’re feeling, and we take pride in making sure they’re healthy, comfortable, and well-fed.
We’re not just farmers—we’re caretakers.
Our cows rely on us for everything, and we take that responsibility seriously. From the quality feed they eat, to clean, dry bedding, to regular checkups and preventative care, we’re always thinking ahead to keep them thriving. We recycle water to help cool milk quickly and then use that water for drinking, keeping them hydrated with the freshest water possible. We monitor their diets, health, and give them plenty of room to rest and relax. A healthy animal is a productive one, but more than that—it’s a reflection of the love we pour into our farm every single day.

We know where your food comes from matters. You deserve to feel confident in the milk, meat, and other products you feed your family. That’s why we open our farm to conversations like this.
