Despite all of our accomplishments, We owe our existence to a six-inch layer of top soil and the fact that it rains.

When it comes to the crops on our farm, we use technology to be as efficient as we can while also implementing sustainability practices that will keep the land in good health for many generations to come.

Corn

Grown on our farms is Yellow #2 corn or what we call field corn (not popcorn or sweet corn). We use it to feed our animals and then sell the rest to a local elevator to get made into products from corn starch to book binding and more!

Soybeans

Crop rotation is a key part of sustainability and soil health. It also helps in market differentiation so we have introduced soybeans into our rotation. We sell our soybeans to a local elevator to produce products from soybean oil to crayons and more!

Alfalfa

With all the animals around our farm, keeping them fed is important and raising our own forage or feed helps keep us efficient. That’s why we grow alfalfa. It is the main forage in our animal diets for a balanced meal.
